CBFB Tablescapes
CBFB Tablescapes was founded by Fiorenzo Berardozzi and Chip Burr in 2012 as a collaboration between ceramicist and Chef. This conversation of simplicity and functionality of form is represented in this stoneware collection. CFBF Tablescapes respects the clay, in turn we honor the food and the plate as nourishment for the body and the soul.
Ceramics are the ultimate form of farm-to-table, or earth-to-table. Taking millions of years to form, clay is the product of geological weathering on the earth. Combining the natural clay body with my techniques, each artwork is made by the physical activity of moving the clay.
The clay is of the earth, the food is of the earth, and the table is where the relationship becomes a continuum. Create, share, enjoy, relax -this is Tablescapes.
